I don’t own a creative design firm yet, but if I put it on the side of my truck I might get small gigs. And it’s kinda like Doc Brown’s van:

Just don’t ever sell it to a used car dealer in Houston.

To be honest my first thought would be “contractor”

What “creative services” do you provide?

You just have to use your imagination.

If you do it you have to add the 24 hr part.

It’s not a Toyota, he should be fine.

I was referencing Mark:1 plumbing, who sold an F-250 to a used car dealer in Houston. Years later, it ended up in Syria in the hands of ISIS with a Soviet Anti Aircraft gun bolted into the bed.

I knew who you were referencing. I forgot what the truck was.. I bet that poor guy is still getting hate mail.

It was pretty bad. That guy was actually my Best Man’s neighbor! Jokes on ISIS, though. It was a 6.0 Powerstroke.

I wouldn’t do it simply for the fact that if I accidentally did something stupid, my name would be plastered on the side of the truck. That’s why my boss removed our logo from our work trucks...(It was before my time here, it wasn’t me.) Also, it makes you an insurance fraud target.

I used to run an ad on Craigslist for compost delivery for $40/yard. The city I live in has massive piles of it in an open yard you could take for free. When I’d get an order, I’d go shovel the bed of my truck full (2 yards) and make $80. I’d get about one order a week. No door sign though.

I literally laughed out loud when I read this. Star for you sir!

Is that legal? I know you can't have anything like that in NJ unless you have commercial plates.

This is a great idea! I will do this over the summer!

Not entirely sure. Most landscape trucks here run passenger plates, as well as non city run buses.

It was a ford Super duty work truck, no?
Are we talking about the same thing?

Yeah. I messed it up.

Actually no. Source: I used to drive a company car that was not registered as a commercial vehicle.
It’s actually only illegal to have the phone/address on the door, having a commercial name on the door doesn’t matter. Even then, on commercial vehicles, the text size is very specific (current job has gotten tickets several times due to incorrect lettering on the vans).
Also, commercial and fleet vehicles have separate rules, it’s weird. I don’t plan on owning a commercial or fleet vehicle, so not my problem, I don’t need to know the rules. I was never pulled over in the company car, so I can’t really speak to any exact commercial vehicle laws.

Yes, depending on the company size, it could have fleet registrations, which do not always use commercial plates.
Buses, taxis and large corporations use these most. I actually don’t see OMNIBUS tags very often anymore.

it involves Torchinsky’s RV, 14 quarts of 15w40, a DeLorean costume, an entire box of Cracklin’ Oat Bran, and a ketchup bottle full of week-old pee.
